Competition Law

The Competition Law team has experience in providing advice on all aspects of competition law, including the following:

  • regulatory compliance, from mergers and acquisitions to anti-competitive conduct;
  • advising on marketing and advertising issues in the context of the misleading and deceptive conduct and false and misleading representation provisions of the Trade Practices Act; and
  • advising on and conducting negotiations in response to misleading and deceptive conduct by trade competitors.
Our team also has a depth of experience in competition law litigation, having represented clients in proceedings for misleading and deceptive conduct and anti-competitive practices in the Federal Court of Australia and state supreme court jurisdictions.
